Crazy for Coconut Water

Well this is why I need to write everyday. Because try as I might I cannot remember what I did on Thursday. I know I worked and I imagine I did all the other regulars like eat and sleep. I do know that I made it to my 6am yoga class. But was there something else that was more prominent than sipping on tea and playing with Magic every now and than, it truly escapes me.

So onto Friday when I decided to sleep in and go to 930am yoga. It was a busier class and apparently they just had the carpets cleaned the night before. It was super duper humid but the heat stayed relatively consistent.

I was in the back row and the older lady in front of me was a prime example of why one should not drink anything other than water in this class. She was fidgety and very off balance which at first made it harder for me to concentrate as she was right in my line of view. But after a while, I was able to block her frustrated and anxious energy out of my field.

I took a trip to pick up my fishing rods and tackle box out of storage from my renters house. Armed with my gear I headed down to the North Saskatchewan River to have a little R&R with the fishes. Caught and released a few before the wind picked up bringing with it some dark rain clouds. Packed it in then headed into Chinatown to pick up some supplies. I stocked up on coconut water as it seems to be helping me balance my body after my yoga. You can get it in a can or just poke a hole right into the coconut.

Coconut water is pure, clear, and is one of the highest sources of electrolytes known to man. “Coconut water is the very stuff of Nature, biologically Pure, full of Natural Sugars, Salts, and Vitamins to ward off fatigue… and is the next wave of energy drinks BUT natural!”, according to the United Nation`s Food & Agriculture Organization.

Plus, it`s yummy and refreshing. But I will stick to having it AFTER my class so as not to turn into a Nervous Nelly.

Grateful for coconut water.
