And she told two friends and so on and so on

I skipped yoga again today but it`s the one day of the month I am allowed. So. I took advantage of that. I ended up having a productive day working while I wasn`t getting distracted with this new Facebook phenomenon. I can`t believe the people that are turning up in my friends list. Some very random, but welcome surprises and reunions.

In case your inbox hasn`t been flooded by an onslaught of invitations to join this hip new social networking site, you can bet you know someone who has. Just know that it`s only a matter of time before you succumb. This thing has caught on like wildfire and people who have never (and have a strict policy against them) are caving in.

I always found it to be one of those funny things of traveling. I can`t count the amount of times that I would get engrossed in a conversation with someone for hours without even knowing their name. It would be like some kind of other dimension, some bubble that would keep us in a state of stasis while we were connecting. They are those people who you meet that you are SURE you know, you are positive that you have met them before. Try as you might, you wrack your brain but there is no explanation of the intense feeling of familiarity.

I remember having this happen to me so often that it became less of a puzzle and more of a reassurance. Of what, I am not sure. I just know that I`d rather see it as a sign that the universe is unfolding exactly as it should be. Just a reminder that no matter how different we all may be, our lives are still intertwined, linked and related in some way or another.

Grateful for interconnectedness.
