TravelPod MeetUp Music Massive an Caribbean Cruise

TravelPodder Music Massive and Caribbean Cruise

Well as these things tend to materialize, another TravelPod meetup has just sprouted. And it`s gaining speed fast! Jump on quickly to get the best rates.

Here is the deal:

We are meeting to dance our faces off at Miami`s Ultra Music Festival on March 23-24. Then the next day, we drag our aching bodies and sore feet onto a resort on the sea to get pampered for the next week. After embarking on Royal Caribbeans Explorer of the Seas, we will visit Mexico, Belize and the Caymen Islands before landing back in Miami on April 1st.
So far a few TravelPodders have joined in for one or both events and it looks like more are jumping on for what will make TravelPod history. The first organized TravelPodder tour! You can bet there will be heaps of photos, video and even live webcams if we can swing it. Not to mention several different perspectives of the same holiday!

Miami Ultra Music Festival March 23-24 ( Ultra Festival )

If you are at all interested in international DJs or electronic music, join us at the Miami Winter Music Conference. The event lasts a week and then culminates in a massive weekend of party madness. We are showing up for the closing event on Friday and Saturday to experience Ultra Music Festival. Here such talent as Tiesto, Junkie XL, Paul Van Dyk, The Cure, Ferry Corsten, Carl Cox, Deep Dish, and many more will be rocking several stages. Located in Miami`s waterfront Bicentennial Park, more than 50,000 people will participate in this celebration of musical genius.
So, at the moment tickets are $99 US plus taxes and you can buy them online. That covers your entry for both days. Prices are set to rise in the near future so don`t wait.

THEN…

Since we are going to be in Miami already, I decided to check out a few of the cruise deals happening at that time. Here is the one that jumped out at me and was the best bang for the buck.

Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas – Western Caribbean March 25- April 1 Sailing
Royal Caribbean Cruise

We will board the ship Sunday afternoon and spend one week on this luxury liner visiting ports such as Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, Grand Caymen. These are all excellent scuba and snorkel opportunities not to mention shopping havens.

The ship itself is fully equipped with everything you could imagine from a rock climbing wall to an ice skating rink to basketball courts to mini-golf and inline skating tracks. We TravelPodders are an active bunch so I wanted to make sure that we had lots of stuff to do. There are also crazy amounts of delicious food being served 24 hours a day not to mention the non-stop entertainment. If you think you can`t get the time off, grab your laptop and work online! The ship has internet access and we will be posting on our TravelPod blogs LIVE from the sea!

The Ship – Explorer of the Seas

I have been on several cruises and think very highly of this line. I was on the Voyager which is the Explorers sister ship a few years ago and know that it is quality. The price at the moment is a sale so if you want on at this deal, you must move quickly. They are not able to guarantee the rate and the sale can end at any time.

$728 CAD pp (based on double occupancy) includes all taxes, port charges and most things onboard except alcohol. (this is subject to change at anytime so hurry!) Cruises are generally all-inclusive so all your food, accommodation and fun (not to mention transportation, haha) is included in the price. Now this price is with a Canadian resident discount. We have Australians and Canadians onboard so far (come represent your country!)…if you are quick enough, we may be able to get you this rate by juggling around a few names. As long as one person in the room is Canadian, we can get the rate. (this is a savings of over $200 of the normal sale rate)

Email me at carmella@travelpod.com if you are interested or have any questions. I want to make sure we all get rooms in the same part of ship (so far we are all neighbours). Also, if you are a single, let me know and I will see if I can`t link you up with someone so as not to pay the single supplement.

Just a quick note that TravelPod.com is not affiliated with any of the above companies or organizations. The information in this post is solely my own opinion and not that of TravelPod. TravelPod does not endorse these companies nor accept any liability for damages that may result from participating in this activity or dealing with these companies. (Though, I will take complete responsibility for all the fun and lifelong memories we will make together )

This is just a bunch of us getting together to meet up, party and travel together. We may however, get some further discounts and perks as we are a group representing a specific organization. I am working on it.
